The idea behind KMP
Knowing where you are is the beginning of discovering where you can go.
It starts with a Knowledge Universe
Behind every question is a piece of a larger picture: the ideas, events, people, and relationships that give a subject its depth.
KMP organizes that picture into a Knowledge Universe—a structured map grounded in sources. Carefully reviewed portions become available through questions, explanations, and supporting references. The published knowledge can grow over time.
First Exploration
Follow a representative journey across a subject’s published knowledge. Encounter its different areas and build an initial picture of your understanding.
A meaningful beginning.
Mastery
Continue until every published knowledge item in the subject has received an official response. KMP calls this milestone Mastery: complete measurement coverage, not perfect accuracy or knowing everything about the subject.
A milestone worth recognizing.
Continuous Progression
Revisit knowledge, reflect on your answers, and explore new material as it becomes available. Your earned milestones remain part of your history while your understanding continues to develop.
There is more to discover.
Our first offering
Old & New Testaments
Explore the stories, teachings, and connections of the Christian scriptures.
From the beginnings of Genesis to the writings of the New Testament, The Bible brings KMP’s approach to a rich and connected body of knowledge.
It is being developed as an experience spanning the Old and New Testaments, with a distinct journey through each. Questions are grounded in source material, with explanations that invite you to look closer.
A thoughtful rhythm
The experience we’re building makes each response part of a larger learning journey.
Take on ten questions at a time, moving through a subject in manageable steps.
Use explanations and supporting references to connect each question to the knowledge behind it.
Follow what you’ve explored, reflect on your results, and recognize meaningful milestones.
A little more clarity
The Bible on KMP is in development. The initial release is planned to include both the Old and New Testaments. A public release date has not been announced.
A Knowledge Universe organizes the underlying knowledge of a subject and the connections within it. Questions are a way to explore and measure that knowledge. The published portion is a snapshot of a larger, expandable map.
No. Mastery recognizes your first complete official measurement of a subject’s published knowledge. Correct and incorrect responses both count toward this coverage milestone. Accuracy is separate evidence of your performance; Mastery does not mean perfect retention or complete knowledge of the subject.
New material creates more to explore. Your earned First Exploration and Mastery milestones remain part of your history, while your coverage of the current published knowledge can change.
